Steve is a breath of fresh air in a profession filled with lazy and incompetent people. My mother had been trying to refinance her home and take advantage of the low rates presently available. she was offered 3.250% by her current lender (Citi) 4 months later with terrible communication and explanation they sent a closing agent to her home, they did not provide a HUD settlement before closing. The original rate had risen a half point and the closing costs were higher. I advised her not to sign. Citi went ahead with the loan anyway, closed her loan account and opened a new one. These are just the highlights of her ordeal before I found Mortgage Market of FL, Steve answers calls and e-mails with lightning speed, knows his products and knows the best match for his client. In about a month he had closed a refi for my mother at 2.75% with very low closing costs. My mother is very happy with her new loan, especially since Steve saved her a good bit of money over the incompetents at Citi. Steve is the first mortgage originator that I have ever thought deserved the their fee. Steve has also earned the business of my fiance, based on his results with my mother's loan. This review is hot off the press. I just closed on my new home on 4/5/2013 and could not be more pleased with Steve Jacobson's expertise and guidance.
